This week I complete my first month at FAU and it's been quite interesting.
First things first, I choose it because it is one of the best schools of architecture in Chile, it has a lot of possibilities to study abroad which is really important for me since I plan on doing it in a future and I heard really good references from people who had studied here before.
Well the first thing I noticed was the environment, it really caught my attention how all the students got together after class and chill around on campus after classes a thing that doesn't happen in many other places.
About the classes for me it's been hard to adjust to a totally new system, the teaching/learning process it's different from what I was used to in high school. I wasn't used to have to hand in so many projects in so little time but I think it's a matter of time until I can get into the rhythm of all my subjects.
The people here is really friendly, even more than I expected to be. They are all really nice and willing to help others, that really helps in the process of adjusting to this new place and makes me feel more comfortable.
At first I was really scared of how this could turn out but so far so good, about my career I'm not so sure about it yet but it's just been a month so I think I have to give it some time to totally convince me. But even with all the stress and everything I've been really liking my time here at the FAU and I hope it stays the same way for the next semesters and in fact the rest of the time that I have here.
Also it is hard for me. I hope to accustoming to the rythm of our career, like you said,
ReplyDeleteit is a matter of time.
I hope that, when the semester ends, you like the career. Regards :)
