My views on the students' strike

Every year students in Chile get together and organize different ways to show the people and most important the goberment their need for a better education.
This was the first year I was a part of an institution that took part on the cause since I went to a private high school.
Being part of the students demostrations and participating in the asamblies gave me a better vision of what was going on, it was about so much more than I thought it was. It wasn't only about having free education although it was a big part of it but it was about having a good education in every way meaning inclusive education ( Even if we don't notice we are being educated under a sexist education and only us hace the power to change it), also giving the chance to get higher education to everyone for free not only a few.
Also giving everyone a quality education, not because it's free it has to bad it should be just as good as the private one like it happens in other countries.
I went to my first demostration too and it was really awesome. Seeing the way students put all of their creativity out there to show everyone what their asking for was so impressive, all the dancing, the beautiful posters, people singing, being a part of that made me feel amazing. There was a bad part tho, there were some people throwing stuff and breaking public property but it was just a small group.
In conclusion I'm glad that I took part of this student strike and I really hope that we don't give up until we get what we are fighting for.
